Mascots

Because mascots are so offensive these days, perhaps we should choose one that is guaranteed to offend no one. I give you:

The Dartmouth Dartmouth Review Racist Students.

Here is our new mascot:

Look I realize this post was pointless—I did it to amuse myself and some friends.

I was talking to a professor about this whole deal, and we discussed Derrida and hospitality (seriously, this is the way you talk about current events with Comp Lit profs). I realized that our objective really isn't and shouldn't be to make Dartmouth hostile to Reviewers. Our stand is against a culture of incivility and entitlement, and although the Review embodies this culture, we shouldn't turn it on them.

Come on Seal, Linsalata doesn't deserve that kind of facetime, either positive or negative.

Kramer would have been a much better choice

I'll be much more interested in Seal's reaction once the rage subsides. He's not making much sense this week

Instead of beginning a racist "witch hunt", you(Mr. Seal) should be addressing the article Mr.Linsalata penned rather than merely addressing sexy topic (i.e. cover of the review).

  4. Anon 1: Really? Because that color of green on his shirt looks so swell, I think we should replace our current green with it.

Anon. 2&3: I'll be getting to it, don't you worry. But it's finals and I'm a busy man.

I suppose the Reviewers would say that NAD is the source of incivility (demands for disciplinary action against the Reviewers) and entitlement (I'm offended if I say I am and I have a right to make you stop).

    Therein lies the debate.
