Well it looks like the constant police presence that surrounds my apartment on fortified Capitol Hill got a bit of action today. Within minutes of me leaving a Senate hearing (and spotting Vitter with his dry-cleaning), at 5PM U.S. Capitol Police shot and killed an armed motorist on the north (Senate) side of the Capitol. Sotomayor hearings briefly went into lock down.
