EVER WONDER WHAT HAPPENS
WHEN A DARTMOUTH STUDENT GETS IN TROUBLE?
Student Assembly Presents:
*********THE COS MOCK HEARING*********
MONDAY, OCTOBER 17
7-9 PM
TRI-KAP FRATERNITY
1 WEBSTER AVENUE
On Trial: Student Body President Noah Riner
Judged By: The REAL COS Committee
Followed by a discussion with April Thompson,
Director, Undergraduate Judicial Affairs Office
If it is, though, this is an amazingly insightful way to address this issue. Ideally, it will take both a serious look at what Riner actually did (and didn't do) and also put everything in a self-consciously ironic and self-deprecating light.
Let's just hope the evangelical blogs don't get a hold of this--they'll probably think it's real and that St. Noah is actually in danger.
Nah, its not about that. SA wanted the students to understand what happens at COS hearings, so Noah, as SA prez, will be mock accused of plagiarism, or something.
ReplyDeletethat sucks, then.
ReplyDeleteNot at all -- I'm sick of all of the attention Riner's been getting for such an unexciting, unimportant, unoriginal speech. If he didn't think he was Jesus before, he does now.
